Trump, Clinton & Obama’s Legacy: Implications for Global Afrikans
On 8th November businessman Donald Trump shocked pundits, pollsters and the world by being elected the USA’s 45th president.  Trump ran a populist campaign that many said pandered to the country’s basest tendencies – endorsed by the likes of the Ku Klux Klan the so-called “Alt-Right” and white America in general, while Afrikans stayed loyal to Clinton.  In the aftermath of this result and Brexit, we explore whether aggressive white nationalist policies at home will translate into hostile strategies against the Afrikan world at large.
Are Afrikans better off after two terms of Obama?
How did Trump win the election?
Would Clinton have been better for us?
