The Afrikan world is mourning the passing of Dr John Amos Pombe Magufuli, the dynamic president of the east Afrikan nation of Tanzania, a country long regarded as a renowned hub of Pan-Afrikan activity. (1) The cause of death has been recorded as terminal heart failure. He reportedly suffered from hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and had collapsed several timed before. (2)
As president since 2015 he was a populist leader, a “man for this time” who was transforming Tanzania with a raft of infrastructural, economic and political measures. (3) However, he also evoked the ire of global Europe with stances against, imperialism, “same sex marriage” and more notably the Coronavirus/vaccine agenda. (4) This prompted calls from the west and their surrogates that he be “reined in” amid a global propaganda campaign. (5)
This is why intense suspicion has been aroused in Pan-Afrikan circles. History has demonstrated that global Europe will precipitate physical assassination attempts with character assassination. Thus, in a statement released on March 21st, the Alkebu-Lan Revivalist Movement has made a wide ranging demand for national and international governments and agencies to investigate the circumstances of the death of President Magufuli and pursue justice where necessary. (6)
As well as sending heartfelt condolences his wife and First Lady, Janeth Magufuli and family as well as – our brothers and sisters – The People of Tanzania, we join them in 14 days of mourning. Moreover, we implore the spirits of Muzimu-Mukuru gather around him and give him safe ascendency into their higher realm, and:
May he rise like Ra on the wings of Ma’at after a favourable judgement in the council of Asar – ashe, ashe, ashe-oo; Amen-Ra; it is done. (7)

We ask the question:
Magufuli’s Death: Assassination or Natural Causes?
1) Do you think President Magufuli’s death should be investigated?
2) In what way was President Magufuli “ a man for this time”?
3) Why did global Europe want to “rein in” President Magufuli and what does this mean?
4) In what other ways should the Afrikan world respond?
5) What will President Magufuli’s legacy be?
