In light of the devastating and untimely passing of our dearly beloved Elder Bro. Gamba Kokayi at just 66 years young, we have suspended the planned programme in order to pay tribute to this unsung hero of our Movement and our community.

“Big Bro”, as he was affectionately known, was a stalwart on Liberation Road for well over 40 years and has been with our Movement for most of its existence. Such commitment is indeed rare and we were proud to have our esteemed Warrior (the meaning of his name) preside over our affairs in the seat of Eldership.  We ask that his family are kept in our prayers and at the allotted time may his spirit rises on the wings of Ma’at after a favourable judgement in the council of Asar. ASE!

Tonight, we will be sharing our fondest memories of Bro. Gamba and invite the community to do the same.
