We conclude our series on Ayiti (“Haiti”) with the last part of the interview with very special guest Sis. Èzili Dantò. (1) In spite on the ongoing machinations of external energies the Core Group, CARICOM as well ‘non-dom’ oligarchs bankrolling the chaos, there remains on the ground resistance. (2)
For example, MOLEGHAF (National Movement for Liberty and Equality of Haitians for Fraternity) has been at the forefront of grassroots mobilization but they, as Sis. Èzili points out has “paid a price.” (3)
The reality is that Ayti, and those that advocate for it have been paying a price at the hands of the descendents of “the barbarians that have stained it with blood for two centuries.” (4) Any they show little sign of letting up. Indeed they are planning a long game through initiatives like the “Biden Plan” that has seen hundreds of thousands of Ayisyens swept in to the USA through this special programme. (5) Research suggests that USA-born Ayisyens “assimilate well” and are in active duty in U.S. armed services at twice the rate of citizens, potentially storing up a future USA-Ayisyen occupation force. (6)
This if nothing else highlights the need for fearless truth tellers like Sis. Èzili Dantò to connect us to the true history of Ayiti, including bringing forth the names of Makandal and his wife Grann Brijit, Grann Toya, who taught Desalin, or Boisrond-Tonnerre, JanJak Desalin’s secretary who drafted the 1804 declaration of independence, a task for which he said “To do so appropriately, [he] would need the skin of a white man for parchment, the man’s skull for an inkwell, his blood for ink and a bayonet for a pen.” (7)
As harsh as that may sound it is but a reflection of the sheer brutality meted out not only to Ayisyens then and now but Afrikans globally then and now be it Congo or West Papua, two name just two examples. (8)
Thus ignorance is a luxury Afrikans cannot afford. As far as Ayiti is concerned, Sis. Èzili Dantò’s various platforms are invaluable and should be accessed and shared widely: https://www.youtube.com/@EziliDanto; (he Free Haiti Movement: https://www.facebook.com/groups/110793085393, as well as other independent Afrikan media outlets. To counter the intergenerational plans of our enemies Sis. Èzili concludes that we need to:
“Raise children who understand we’re at war…”

we ask the question
How do we re-Liberate Ayiti? Part 3
1) What “price” do activists pay for staying on Liberation road?
2) Is the USA planning future generations of USA-Ayisyens occupiers?
3) Do we know where to find accurate information on the Afrikan world – and what to do with it?
4) Can we really “Raise children who understand we’re at war”?
