Afrika Speaks with Alkebu-Lan on Galaxy Radio 30/12/24 – 6264 (2024) in Review

December 30, 2024 Alkebu-Lan No comments exist

Our final show of the year was specially pre-recorded and we look back on the past twelve months of Afrika Speaks, reliving some of the most compelling shows with a wealth of guests that brought overstanding and insight to any subject we covered. These included the continuing assault on Ayiti (Haiti), effecting food security, analysing the conflict in Sudan, the fight for land sovereignty in Barbuda, the UK’s war on Afrikan women and the purported genocide Gaza. Clips of these and more will be replayed in the show.

The last remaining Kwanzaa event: Imani (Faith) 1st January 2025, PACM & African Community, 4pm-9pm, 74 Carmoor Road, Chorlton-on-Medlock, M13 0FB. Info: 07884 444 080. Stalls: 07481 146 027. Adm: Free. Donations welcome.

And may the wisdom of the ancestors always walk with us.

May the year’s end meet us laughing and stronger.

May our children honor us by following our example in love and struggle.

And at the end of next year, may we sit again together, in larger numbers, with greater achievement and closer to liberation and a higher level of human life.
