In the previous show we took a deep dive into the origin, purpose and function of the World Health Organization and similar institutions. (1) We also highlighted the trove of narratives dismissed as “conspiracy theories” advanced by “toxic Pan-Afrikanists” and the like eighteen months ago are now accepted fact, to the extent that we have to wonder if the term has the effect it once did. (2) Though by no means new (the USA’s Food & Drug Administration approved it in 2017), emerging reports of Pfizer’s electronic pill is a blow to those who summarily dismissed notions of such a thing, in spite of the ‘fact check’ denials. (3)
Monkeypox seems to garner a disproportionate amount of news coverage compared to its scope and impact and even the World Health Organization has no plans to escalate. (4). Like Covid before it accounts of a ‘lab leak are being repudiated, in spite of credible reports to the contrary. (5)
