GARVEY LIVES!!! GARVEY LIVES!!! GARVEY LIVES!!!

MOSIAH LIVES!!! MOSIAH LIVES!!! MOSIAH LIVES!!!

The Mosiah season 6266 (2026) was launched at the Mosiah Opening Ceremony at Alkebu-Lan’s Shumira on Mosiah (Aug) 2nd The observance which is a thirty-one day celebration honouring the life and legacy of the Most Eminent Prophet and King, His Excellency Marcus Mosiah Garvey has achieved widespread acceptance since it was first touted thirty-nine years ago and observed for the first time the following year.

At the Opening Ceremony delivered the keynote address around the theme The revolutionary ideal of Nationhood. Nationhood was certainly an issue central to Papa Garvey’s ideology.

No race is free until it has a strong nation of its own; its own system of government and its own order of society. Never give up this idea… Never be satisfied to always live under the government of other people, because you will always be at their mercy. Visualise for yourself and your children and generations unborn your own kings, emperors, president, your own government officials and administrators, who look like you.” (1)

We are determined to solve our own problems, by redeeming our Motherland, Afrika, from the hands of alien exploiters and found there a government, a nation of our own, strong enough to lend protection to the members of our race, scattered all over the world and to compel the respect of the nations and races of the earth.” (2)

In his message Bro. ShakaRa asserted that “Nationhood can be described as the highest level of social organisation on this plane of existence.” However, he continued, we are currently operating at the level of survival or perhaps worse. Governments in Afrika and the Caribbean that purport to speak on our behalf, even around reparations, do deals with antagonistic governments and unrepentant colonialists: (3)

The revolutionary ideal of nationhood mean that we must have a clear understanding of what it means to have a sovereign nation. What means to make collective decisions on out own behalf and build institutions through which we enact the power to effect our own decision making.”

This sovereignty must exist in every area of people activity (e.g. food, energy, financial, political, etc). Thus the Garveyite position is to attain this, which it must do in the face rampant encroachments, particularly from the USA but also adversaries like France, Ukraine and UAE. (4)

we ask the question:

What is the revolutionary ideal of Nationhood?

1) Are the existing states in Afrika & Caribbean examples of nationhood ?

2) If not, how could they be?

3) To what extent do we constitute a nation in the UK?

4) How do we going about establishing it?
